Felicity

Felicity — 1774
Who she is: a spunky colonial girl growing up as America is on the brink of the Revolutionary War
Where she lives: Williamsburg, Virginia
In her day: Loyalists were true to the King of England, while Patriots like Felicity's father wanted America to be independent
What she's learning to be: a proper gentlewoman who can sew a sampler, serve tea, and dance
What she'd rather be doing: running outside or riding a horse
Her best friend: Elizabeth Cole, a Loyalist
Favorite activity: riding her spirited and independent horse, Penny
Fluffy friend: Posie, the lamb her grandfather gives her
Special treasure: her grandmother's guitar
What she discovers: People can have different beliefs and still be friends
Have you ever risked a friendship to stand up for your beliefs?
